Following the launch of the Nigeria Customer Service Index in June,
there’s been lots of media campaign and outposts on the Index and how it will help improve service delivery in Nigeria. Watch one HERE
As Nigerians look to end the crass non challant disposition of service providers to services through the index, the
WAACSP will continually educate and inform citizens on how to take the survey and help improve service delivery on all fronts. To this end, the association plans for periodic public enlightenment campaigns about the Index to encourage greater participation and understanding of the Index.
The first of such webinars tagged,
THE NCSI&YOU: Understanding The Index As It Debuts in Nigeria, will take place this August.
The webinar will educate attendees on:
- The survey concept including the sectors, parameters and guide to taking the survey.
- Taking the survey.
- Making for accurate survey submissions.
- what could make for invalid submission.
There will also be education on:
- How the NCSI will help and improve customer service practitioners in Nigeria
- Why service practitioners must embrace the NCSI and be advocates for it.
Finally, all your questions on the NCSI will be answered by the resource team.

Volunteer for The NCSI
To meet the target of atleast 200,000 survey submissions for the 2023 Report requires concerted effort to ramp up numbers and submissions. The NCSI team is calling on interested persons to volunteer for the Index.
Volunteering for NCSI will primarily cover:
- canvassing publicity of the index
- Canvass (online & offline) on survey submission.
Whilst it’s an unpaid Volunteering job, Participants will benefit immensely from WAACSP for taking up this largely online volunteer work which will last for 14-16 weeks.
Benefits of being a volunteer for the NCSI 2023 volunteer group
- Get a volunteer certificate at the end of the service.
- A STAR commendation letter by WAACSP, personalized and signed by the board chairperson Yvonne Ohui MacCarthy.
- One year (free) membership of WAACSP on the Certified or Professional members category of which your career trajectory falls under and with the numerous benefits of the association it affords.
- Reference/attestation letter to any organization or institution in Nigeria or abroad by the association.
- Recognition as a life time WAACSP volunteer and access to the association's programs with not less than 30% discount for paid programs.
The NCSI team will train and equip all volunteers with the required tools and support for the program.
